The price of our legal services is always based on individual agreement with the client, determining not only the usual conditions for provision of legal aid, but also choice of a specific type of fee. In practice, we use the following types of fee determining the level of the price for legal services:
Hourly fee
Determined according to the time spent by the law office on provision of legal services, when the price is calculated as a multiple of the hourly rate and corresponding number of hours of legal services provided by the law office.
Flat-rate fee
Fee for an individual legal service
Determined for a one-off transaction or individually defined legal relationship at a flat-rate fee regardless of the time spent by the law office when providing legal services.
Flat-rate fee
For regular legal services (usually monthly)
Determined for a specific period at a flat-rate price (usually monthly) regardless of, or with partial consideration to the amount of time spent by the law office when providing legal services.
Percentage fee
Usually according to the value of the item or performance
Determined as a share in the value of the item or performance from a one-off transaction or individually defined legal relationship (from a legal dispute or from other legal case etc.), when the flat-rate fee is calculated as a percentage of the value of the item or performance regardless of, or with partial consideration to the amount of time spent by the law office when providing legal services.
Contingent fee
Determined at a level corresponding to the flat-rate reimbursement of costs of the participant in proceedings represented by the attorney-at-law in a civil court case pursuant to Decree of the Ministry of Justice number 484/2000 Coll., as amended.
Fee according to the Attorneys’ Tariff
Determined by Decree of the Ministry of Justice number 177/1996 Coll., as amended, determining the level of the price for provision of legal services in cases when the law office and the client do not agree otherwise on the fee or agree on billing of the price according to the Attorneys’ Tariff.
